The 2009 Import and Export Market for Parts for Household or Laundry-Type Washing Machines in Russia

The 2009 Import and Export Market for Parts for Household or Laundry-Type Washing Machines in Russia

On the demand side, exporters and strategic planners focusing on parts for household or laundry-type washing machines in Russia face a number of questions. Which countries are supplying parts for household or laundry-type washing machines to Russia? How important is Russia compared to others in terms of the entire global and regional market? How much do the imports of parts for household or laundry-type washing machines vary from one country of origin to another in Russia? On the supply side, Russia also exports parts for household or laundry-type washing machines. Which countries receive the most exports from Russia? How are these exports concentrated across buyers? What is the value of these exports and which countries are the largest buyers?

This report was created for strategic planners, international marketing executives and import/export managers who are concerned with the market for parts for household or laundry-type washing machines in Russia. With the globalization of this market, managers can no longer be contented with a local view. Nor can managers be contented with out-of-date statistics which appear several years after the fact. I have developed a methodology, based on macroeconomic and trade models, to estimate the market for parts for household or laundry-type washing machines for those countries serving Russia via exports, or supplying from Russia via imports. It does so for the current year based on a variety of key historical indicators and econometric models.

In what follows, Chapter 2 begins by summarizing where Russia fits into the world market for imported and exported parts for household or laundry-type washing machines. The total level of imports and exports on a worldwide basis, and those for Russia in particular, is estimated using a model which aggregates across over 150 key country markets and projects these to the current year. From there, each country represents a percent of the world market. This market is served from a number of competitive countries of origin. Based on both demand- and supply-side dynamics, market shares by country of origin are then calculated across each country market destination. These shares lead to a volume of import and export values for each country and are aggregated to regional and world totals. In doing so, we are able to obtain maximum likelihood estimates of both the value of each market and the share that Russia is likely to receive this year. From these figures, rankings are calculated to allow managers to prioritize Russia compared to other major country markets. In this way, all the figures provided in this report are forecasts that can be combined with internal information sources for strategic planning purposes.

Another Day in the Park

Another Day in the Park

I had planned to take a nice long hike along the Merced River today, do a little mushroom hunting and nature pictures. Before I left, I had one of my neighbors stalking me in the hallway (three times) and in our laundry room. Another typical day for a Targeted Individual (TI). I went to the small store we have at the Lodge and was stalked by two more of my neighbors. The chewing gum that I usually buy has been pulled, because it's something I enjoy. As I walk by the counter looking for other types of gum, the Team Leader on duty gives me a cough (it's called sensitizing) to try and irritate me. I leave the store, with no gum and head towards the river.
I decide to walk along the river bank instead of taking a more traveled trail. I'm enjoying my beautiful surroundings and then I start hearing this loud beeping over and over again. It's the sound made by construction equipment or a large truck backing up. There are no roads close to me, but this sound is loud and coming from across the river. This is just a normal noise campaign that TIs endure on a daily basis. Perpetrators apparently have no fulfillment in their lives, so they deprive others of any solitude or happiness.
I walk along the river and come across this Dragon Fly. It's a bit windy and the little guy is hanging on to this reed, letting me take all the pictures I want. It being windy, I had to take a lot of shots to try and get a nice one. While I'm snapping away, changing settings, losing myself in the moment; a couple come out from the woods, on the other side of the river and start coughing. I finished my shoot and continued along the river.
The river took a few bends and I had to make my way close to the road, there was a Park Ranger in his SUV setting there in wait. I take a couple pictures of his vehicle and make a point to walk right past his door. I walk back towards the river, by an area where I've ran into a few bears, hoping to get a picture of one. I wasn't disappointed. I heard something bellowing behind me, I turned around and there was a young bear sitting in the water. I heard some people with kids on his side of the river, he was wanting to cross, but saw me. He must have called for his mother. Early this spring while hunting Morel mushrooms, I came across a mother and her cub, he looked like the cub. I kept my distance, didn't want to stress him any more than he was and took a few pics. You can see them in today’s set.
Further down the river, in a patch of Ponderosa Pines I found some King Boletes. They must have came up last week when we had all the rain. One had a cap about 12” in diameter, but was to old to harvest. It looked like the deer had eaten on the others. I did find a nice one still under the duff and picked it. A pic is also in today’s set. I had to walk up to the road again, there was a perp standing in the middle of a heavy traveled road, looking right at me. He stood in the middle of the road, looking right at me, until I went back down to the river bank.
I made the turn at El Capitan and headed back on the other side of the river. When walking close to the road, a Yosemite Shuttle Bus would go by and release air from their pneumatic systems, making a loud hiss. They do this all the time, to try and irritate me. When I did get back to my living quarters, I had another one of our company employee's setting outside the building, waiting to blow 2nd hand smoke in my face.
All in all, just another day for a TI and not a bad day. I did get to enjoy a bit of nature, take some nice pictures, finds some mushrooms. I will not be silent when it comes to Organized Stalking, Work Place Mobbing and Electronic Harassment. Our world is not as it seems, I will continue to speak out for all who suffer.

1930's Acme Manufacturing Co, David Street, Glasgow. 32 Page Booklet.

Peter Burt was born in Glasgow in 1856, the son of an engineer.

In 1881 he established his own business, The Acme Machine Company. Two special branches of the business developed - one for the manufacture of domestic laundry equipment and the other for the manufacture of internal combustion engines. Peter Burt was very much the Victorian inventor, inventing and manufacturing such things as washing machines, mangles, perambulators, stoves, mincing machines and even ice cream freezers, though it was the Acme clothes wringer that earned the company a deserved reputation. It was called "the wringer of the age".

The patent files of the Acme Company bulged with every type of invention. It was even reported that Peter Burt's Father had made a motor car engine running off town gas.

Thus when Burt's Patents Division presented Argyll Motors with a new original and almost flawless design of car engine it was no wonder that John Matthews was impressed. It was decided, therefore, to build a test engine as quickly as possible, using an existing 15 h.p. Argyll poppet valve engine with as many standard parts as possible.

The new engine was to be called the 15/30. Argyll's new sleeve-valve engine was first shown at Olympia in 1911 with a chassis that had revolutionary 4 wheel brakes fitted.
